Chiropractors

The doctors of chiropractic at the Chiropractic Care and Longevity Center have been freeing people from pain in Perth, Ontario, Canada for over 18 years. As Chiropractors with experience, they are committed to promoting optimal health and well being of patients. They use a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, the doctors are able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

Dr. Guirguis is a licensed chiropractor who earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa, and his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College.

After graduating, he practiced for several years in Westminster, Vermont, where he gained valuable experience working in a health care model which involved collaboration between professionals of several health care disciplines, including medical doctors, naturopaths, physiotherapists and psychotherapists.

After leaving Vermont, Dr. Guirguis moved to Ottawa, where he currently practices at the Sunrise Health Centre and at the Chiropractic Care and Longevity Clinic in Perth.

He was recently involved in a two year government funded study of chiropractic care at the Carlington Community Health Centre in Ottawa. During those two years, he treated patients and evaluated their response to chiropractic treatments in collaboration with several medical doctors and nurse practitioners. Once the study was completed, the results demonstrated the effectiveness of chiropractic treatments to patients with nerve, joint, and muscle pain.

Dr. Guirguis currently resides in Ottawa with his wife, one very active toddler and another one on the way. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, especially soccer, skiing and tennis, as well as traveling and spending time with family and friends.
