Dr. Kathy Wickens B.Sc.(Hon), D.C. Wellness Advisor
Dr. Kathy Wickens is a licensed Chiropractor who earned her Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa, Certificate of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa and her Doctorate from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College of Canada which is one of the best academic chiropractic colleges in the world.
After graduating from the University of Ottawa, Dr. Wickens worked in the Federal Government for ten years. When she personally discovered the benefits of Chiropractic, she returned to school for an additional four years to get her Doctorate in Chiropractic.
She is the owner of the Chiropractic Care and Longevity Center located in Perth, Ontario.
Her background is extensive. She believes in a well-rounded common sense approach utilizing the latest scientific advancements in health care in order to achieve optimal health and to correct the underlying cause of any specific conditions. Dr. Wickens also believes patients must be informed and take an active role in their health. Over the past twenty eight years, Dr. Wickens has lectured to thousands in an attempt to educate the public regarding chiropractic, nutrition, exercise, wellness etc.
Dr. Wickens has taken thousands of hours of continuing education involving chiropractic, physical training, orthotics, gait analysis, compression stockings, addiction, supplements, homeopathy, radiology courses, lifestyle management, C.A.T.S. (Cranial Adjusting Turner Style), Cranial Release Technique (CRT), Postural Neurology and Cold Laser Therapy. She is constantly honing her skills to keep up with the latest technology and to keep abreast of the most up-to-date scientific research.
Dr. Wickens is actively involved in her community as a volunteer most currently sitting on the Board of the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation, as well as in a philanthropic role. When she is not involved with her two daughters and their families, and her extended family of her eleven brothers and sisters, she spends her time traveling, swimming, reading and cooking.
Dr. Wickens firmly believes that we should all strive for quality of life. She enjoys assisting patients in making lifestyle changes towards this goal.
Dr. Elizabeth Carter B.Kin., D.C.
Dr. Elizabeth Carter became interested in the chiropractic profession, after experiencing the benefits of chiropractic from a very early age. She first completed her Bachelor’s of Kinesiology at McMaster University in 2007, where she focused her elective courses on the caring for seniors and special needs individuals. She then went on to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), to complete her chiropractic studies. During her time at CMCC, she became involved with the local community and helped create and run the “Stay In Health” program. This program focused on improving the quality of life of seniors through exercise, education, and stress management. She also completed the Certified Acupuncture Program in her fourth year of chiropractic school.
Dr. Carter has loved being a part of the Chiropractic Care and Longevity Center team, since returning to her hometown of Perth in 2014. She has worked alongside Dr. Kathy Wickens, attending seminars in Canada and the US to stay current with the latest research, and enhancing her ability to provide the best possible care to her patients. She also has been a part of the yearly CMCC admission interviews since 2015, helping to select the best and brightest candidates that will one day join the profession.
Interested in findings ways to give back to the town that has afforded her many opportunities growing up, Dr. Carter was excited to join the Perth Business Improvement Association (BIA) Board of Directors and Promotions Committee in 2018. She has enjoyed getting to know business owners and participating in many local events.
Dr. Carter enjoys spending time outdoors, and can often be found running or cycling on the Trans Canada Trail in the summer. She completed her first sprint triathlon in Perth last year. Dr. Elizabeth Carter is passionate about educating patients so they can be active participants in their health, and aspire to have an excellent quality of life.

Dillon Lowry, RMT
Dillon had been a proud member of the Chiropractic Care & Longevity Center team for the past 3 years. His previous aspirations in competitive baseball gave him valuable insight into sports injuries and their suitable treatment and recovery times. This has allowed Dillon to understand and strengthen his career as a Registered Massage Therapist. After 3 years in a highly competitive massage therapy program, Dillon received his Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy from Algonquin College, Ottawa, Ontario.
In the last 3 years at CCLC, he has gained experience in using deep tissue, neuromuscular, abdominal, trigger point therapy, sports rehabilitation, relaxation and pregnancy treatments. Some of his greatest successes have included rotator cuff issues, frozen shoulder, and very successful relaxation and deep tissue treatments. Dillon also has experience with developmentally challenged children. In the future, he plans to specialize in tempo-mandibular join (jaw) and lymph drainage.
Being born and raised in Perth, Dillon is pleased to continue serving the individuals of the community and surrounding areas.
Alanna Dyer, RMT
Alanna has been a member of the Chiropractic Care & Longevity Center team since September 2015. Alanna graduated from Fleming College’s three year advanced diploma program in April 2015 and is now a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She has gained knowledge and experience in pregnancy and infant massage, intraoral massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, relaxation massage and lymphatic drainage. Alanna is very proud to have started her career in her hometown and to be a part of the team at the Chiropractic Care & Longevity Center. Alanna looks forward to treating clients with impairments and helping them achieve optimal health through massage
Lindsay Cannon, RMT
Having graduated from Algonquin College’s three-year massage therapy program in 2013, Lindsey is registered with the college of massage therapists of Ontario and is an active member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario. She is competent in deep tissue massage, myofascial release, pre- and post-natal massage and sports injury massage. As a graduate Dental Assistant, Lindsey is using her dental knowledge to develop a TMJ massage focus. She is dedicated to a healthy lifestyle, which she promotes to her clients.

Ashley Currie, Office Manager
Ashley graduated with High Honours from Willis College in 2012 with a diploma in Health Office Administration. In the office, she enjoys overseeing the front desk to make sure everything is running smoothly. She manages all of the Motor Vehicle Accident/Veterans Affairs claims as well as produces the monthly newsletter. Ashley resides in Carleton Place with her dog Copper. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and hunting year round.
Ashley Colling, Chiropractic Assistant
Ashley Colling is originally from Perth, but now resides near Merrickville. She enjoys the outdoors , time with her family and travel. She is passionate about exploring more alternate forms of medicine and healing. Ashley graduated from Algonquin College in Perth with honours in the PSW course in 2004, after which she worked full time in the nursing field until recently taking her skills to an office environment.
Emily Hamilton, Clinical Assistant
Emily was born and raised outside Toledo. She attended high school in Athens and continued her education in Brockville at St. Lawrence College enrolled in the Practical Nursing program. In 2014 Emily returned to school to complete the Health Information Management program and later took an Office Administration course in 2016. After graduating in 2017, she immediately began working as a Laser Technician, at a local office and gained extraordinary hands-on experience with Low Light Laser Therapy, helping clients with acute and chronic pain conditions. She is very family-oriented and enjoys spending time with the ones she loves. She has a passion for snowmobiling and adores her chocolate-lab, Koby!
Susan Moizer, Personal Trainer
Susan Moizer is the most recent addition to the team at CCLC. She is a long time resident of Merrickville, Ontario.
Susan graduated from Guelph University, Kemptville Campus, in 2003 from the Nutrition Management program. She owned the popular eatery “The Yellow Canoe Café” in Merrickville until 2014, when she sold it to her daughter-in-law.
As well as certifying as an Aerobics instructor in 1992, she also certified as a Personal Trainer in 2012. As a life-long runner, she has a keen interest in fitness and helping others reach their potential.
Susan has a passion for running, particularly trail running. Most days she can be found out running with her border collie, Chloe. She is looking forward to sharing her passion for fitness with everyone.
