Dr. Kathy Wickens B.Sc.(Hon), D.C. Wellness Advisor

Dr. Kathy Wickens is a licensed Chiropractor who earned her Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa, Certificate of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa and her Doctorate from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College of Canada which is one of the best academic chiropractic colleges in the world.

After graduating from the University of Ottawa, Dr. Wickens worked in the Federal Government for ten years. When she personally discovered the benefits of Chiropractic, she returned to school for an additional four years to get her Doctorate in Chiropractic.

She is the owner of the Chiropractic Care and Longevity Center located in Perth, Ontario.

Her background is extensive. She believes in a well-rounded common sense approach utilizing the latest scientific advancements in health care in order to achieve optimal health and to correct the underlying cause of any specific conditions. Dr. Wickens also believes patients must be informed and take an active role in their health. Over the past thirty years, Dr. Wickens has lectured to thousands to educate the public regarding chiropractic, nutrition, exercise, wellness, etc.

Dr. Wickens has taken thousands of hours of continuing education involving chiropractic, physical training, orthotics, gait analysis, compression stockings, addiction, supplements, homeopathy, radiology courses, lifestyle management, C.A.T.S. (Cranial Adjusting Turner Style), Cranial Release Technique (CRT), Postural Neurology and Cold Laser Therapy. She is constantly honing her skills to keep up with the latest technology and to keep abreast of the most up-to-date scientific research.

Dr. Wickens is actively involved in her community as a volunteer most currently sitting as the Chair of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation. When she is not involved with her two daughters and their families, and her extended family of her eleven brothers and sisters, she spends her time traveling, swimming, reading, cooking and playing board and card games.

Dr. Wickens firmly believes that we should all strive for quality of life. She enjoys assisting patients in making lifestyle changes towards this goal.

Dr. Gian Kaillon B.Sc.(Hon), D.C

Dr. Gian Kaillon completed her Bachelor of Science in 2002 at the University of Ottawa. Pursuing her interest in physiology, nutrition, health and wellness. She continued her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), graduating with a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2010.

Dr. Kaillon began her chiropractic and wellness career working within a busy multidisciplinary clinic in the GTA and the Durham region. During this time, she continued her education and received a certificate in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.

A few years later Dr. Kaillon moved back to her home town of Sharbot Lake, where she opened up her own practice in 2017. Dr. Kaillon is trained in the latest and most advanced systems in chiropractic technology. She strives to be current in education and training and has passion for patient care and wellness, with a strong emphasis on patient education.

Registered Massage Therapists

Dillon Lowry, RMT

Dillon had been a proud member of the Chiropractic Care & Longevity Center team since September 2014 . His previous aspirations in competitive baseball gave him valuable insight into sports injuries and their suitable treatment and recovery times. This has allowed Dillon to understand and strengthen his career as a Registered Massage Therapist. After 3 years in a highly competitive massage therapy program, Dillon received his Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy from Algonquin College, Ottawa, Ontario.

He has gained experience in using deep tissue, neuromuscular, abdominal, trigger point therapy, sports rehabilitation, relaxation, and pregnancy treatments. Some of his greatest successes have included rotator cuff issues, frozen shoulder, and very successful relaxation and deep tissue treatments. Dillon also has experience with developmentally challenged children. In the future, he plans to specialize in tempo-mandibular join (jaw) and lymph drainage.

Being born and raised in Perth, Dillon is pleased to continue serving the individuals of the community and surrounding areas.

Alanna Dyer, RMT

Alanna has been a member of the Chiropractic Care & Longevity Center team since September 2015. Alanna graduated from Fleming College’s three-year advanced diploma program in April 2015 and is now a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She has gained knowledge and experience in pregnancy and infant massage, intraoral massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, relaxation massage, and lymphatic drainage. Alanna is very proud to have started her career in her hometown and to be a part of the team at the Chiropractic Care & Longevity Center. Alanna looks forward to treating clients with impairments and helping them achieve optimal health through massage

Lindsey Cannon, RMT

Having graduated from Algonquin College’s three year massage therapy program in 2013, Lindsey is registered with the college of massage therapists of Ontario and is an active member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario. She is competent in deep tissue massage, myofascial release, pre- and post-natal massage and sports injury massage. As a graduate Dental Assistant, Lindsey is using her dental knowledge to develop a TMJ massage focus. She is dedicated to a healthy lifestyle, which she promotes to her clients.

Ashley Currie, Office Manager

Ashley graduated with High Honours from Willis College in 2012 with a diploma in Health Office Administration. In the office, she enjoys overseeing the front desk to make sure everything is running smoothly. She manages all of the Motor Vehicle Accident/Veterans Affairs claims as well as produces the monthly newsletter. Ashley resides in Carleton Place with her dog Copper. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and hunting year-round.

Sabrina Lalonde, Clinical Assistant

Sabrina graduated from the Social Service Work program in 2017. After working in the field for a year, she decided to go back to school to transition into an office setting. Sabrina graduated from Medical and Legal Office Administration in June 2021. Some of her responsibilities at the office include assisting with new patient consultations and laser therapy.

Sabrina was born and raised in Smiths Falls. She enjoys reading, writing, crocheting and spending time in nature.

Jason Cross

Jason is a titlist performance institute golf fitness specialist. He is a certified strength and conditioning coach with 20 years of experience. Jason has worked for organizations including sports clubs of Canada, Bally total fitness Canada, and Goodlife Fitness. Then went on to work in partnership with Peak performance golf. He is a lover of all sports and enjoys participating in every sport under the sun. He believes a well-lived life begins with your health. He creates customized training paired with your body’s own genetic sequencing to unlock your top fitness potential. He looks forward to working with Dr. Kathy Wickens and her team to elevate the quality of their patient’s lives.
